The 19th anniversary of Baisakhi Television was celebrated in Chapainawabganj with a colorful event. On this occasion, a rally, cake cutting and discussion meeting were organized on Wednesday (December 27) at 11 am.
A colorful rally was taken out from Chapainawabganj club premises. The rally circumambulates the important roads of the city. Later in the hall of the club, the cake was officially cut by the Zilla Parishad Chairman Virmuktijoddha Alhaj Md. Rahul Amin. At the time, he said, he expressed hope that Baisakhi television will play a role in shaping the better minds of people by presenting objective news and programs, capturing the spirit of the great liberation war.
District representative of ATN Bangla Md. Nasim Mahmud, editor of local newspaper Daily Chapai Darpan and district representative of Channel Eye Md. Ashraful Islam Ranju, district representative of Jamuna TV Manowar Hossain Jewel, district representative of Dainik Amar Sangbad Azizur Rahman Shishir, Chapainawabganj were present. Md. Badiuzzaman Rajababu, General Secretary of Model Press Club and District Representative of Daily Amar Barta, Md. Rafiqul Alam of Bangladesh Daily, Chapainawabganj Municipality Panel Mayor-3 Nazneen Fatema Jinia, Kamal Sukrana of Bhorer Dak, Obaidul Haque of Dainik Din Panjani, Md Rabiul Awal of Dainik Alor Barta and Daily State, General Secretary of Sadar Upazila Jubo League Lenin Pramanik and others. Md. Abdul Wahab, district representative of Baishakhi TV gave a welcome speech on the occasion.
