
Pakistan’s Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) DG Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry claimed that the country’s military downed 12 Indian drones from multiple locations, reports Dawn.
The DG termed the action of sending Harop drones as “another blatant military act of aggression against Pakistan”, and said that the process of India’s action was a “serious serious provocation”.
“This naked aggression continues, and the armed forces are on high degree of alert and neutralizing them as we speak,” the military spokesman stated.
He added that the provocation “miserably failed on the night of May 6 and 7, when they attacked places of worship and civilian infrastructure and killed innocent civilians, including children, women and [the] elderly”.
The DG ISPR stated the locations where the Indian drones were neutralized as: Lahore, Attock, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Miano, Chor, and Near Karachi.
He then showed a series of pictures showing the debris of the drones.
A 13th drone injures four Pak soldiers
Citing the ISPR DG, the media reported that four personnel of the Pakistan Army have been injured as a 13th Indian drone “managed to engage in a military target near Lahore partially.”
“Four men of Pakistan Army have been injured in this attack near Lahore with partial damage to some equipment,” he said.
“Another drone, as a result of that, another result of this activity is that one civilian has embraced martyrdom and one is injured in Miano, Sindh,” Gen Chaudhry added.
