The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Sunday reported two new COVID-19 cases in the country in the 24-hour period between 8am Saturday and 8am Sunday.
According to a DGHS press release, 202 samples were tested during this time, with a positivity rate of 0.99 percent, reports BSS.
No new deaths from COVID-19 were reported during this period. The total number of deaths from the virus since the pandemic began in 2020 remains at 29,526.
