Popular singer Mainul Ahsan Noble was arrested on Tuesday from Dhaka’s Demra area in connection with a case filed over the abuse of a woman.
He will be produced before the court around noon, said Md Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media and public relations) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
Demra Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Md Murad Hossain confirmed the arrest, saying, “A police team nabbed him from Sarulia in Demra around 2am after a woman filed a case against him on charges of rape and abuse.”
