Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal accused a high-ranking official of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will derail his World Cup hopes.

In a video message, he stated that he was treated unfairly by a top-level BCB employee, although he did not divulge his name.

To everyone's amazement, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) named a 15-man World Cup roster that did not include Tamim Iqbal, despite the fact that the southpaw appeared to be fit for his sixth World Cup.

Tamim declared he was fine to play in the World Cup after scoring 44 runs against New Zealand in the second match. Despite the pain, he was on the mend ahead of Bangladesh's World Cup opener against Afghanistan on October 7.

Tamim stated that he was a victim of a dirty environment that caused various barriers for him in the previous few months, and he just cannot take it any longer, forcing him to withdraw from the World Cup.

"I received a call from the top level of the board. He is actively involved in our cricket team. He stated that if you go to the World Cup, you must play the games while managing your injury. "You better do one thing---don't play the first match against Afghanistan," Tamim revealed in a video released today on his verified Facebook profile.

"I responded that the Afghanistan game is still 12/13 days away." I'll be in better shape in 12/13 days. Why shouldn't I participate? Then he said that if you play, you must bat lower in the order. I'm startled to hear this because, other from opening, I've never batted down the order in my 17-year career.
Naturally, you must keep in mind the perspective from which I came. I was pleased with my performance after recovering from my injuries. These things happen out of nowhere. I'm not going to be able to accept it."

"Naturally, I reacted angrily," he continued. Because I didn't care for it.
I feel compelled to accomplish a lot of things. That's how I felt. Then I told her, "Look, if you have such thoughts, don't send me." I don't want to be a part of this disaster. I refuse to be a part of this nasty game. Every day, you force me to confront something new. I don't want to be here any longer. We had a lot of discussion and disagreement after that, but I'm not going to reveal anything here."

Tamim also stated that he was ready to board the jet to India because everything appeared to be in order.

"I was overjoyed after the game. I was pleased with how I batted and felt confident."

Tamim, according to media reports, planned to play only five matches in the World Cup due to injury concerns. According to various media sites, the team management does not want a half-fit athlete on the team.

Tamim released the physio report in the video message, stating that he never told anyone that he would only play five matches. He dismissed the report, saying, "I have the physio report, and if anyone can challenge me, I accept it." According to the report, I experienced soreness after the first and second matches. It stated that I am available for the September 26 encounter, but the medical department believed that if I rested and played the second practice match on October 2, I would have enough time before the first World Cup match (against Afghanistan)."

This news definitely suggested that Tamim was on his way to play his fifth World Cup.

"This would give me two weeks of rehabilitation and put me in a much better place to play the first match," he said.

"Three selectors came into the dressing room after the game, and I spoke with them." I'm sure Nannu bhai a (chief selector) made it clear that I didn't inform them I wanted to play only five World Cup matches."
