Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Thursday announces 'victory' over Israel in a post in X.
Calling Israel a 'fallacious Zionist regime', Khamenei's public statement came two days after a truce between Tehran and Tel Aviv came into effect.
"I offer my congratulations on the victory over the fallacious Zionist regime," said Khamenei in a message on the social media platform.
Khamenei said that Iran’s strikes almost caused Israel to collapse as he announced ‘victory’ over Israel and the US in his first televised address since Donald Trump’s ceasefire deal.
