’July Charter will be prepared soon’

The National Consensus Commission began talks with the Ganosamhati Andolon at 10:30 am today (April 27) in the LD Hall of the Parliament Building.

At the outset of the meeting, Prof. Ali Riaz, Vice-Chair of the Commission, said, "The reform commission has presented a report to resolve the accumulated crises. We must maintain the unity that brought about the downfall of fascism."

"This effort is for the next generation and a new Bangladesh. I remain hopeful that political parties will continue their support in this endeavor," he added.

Prof. Riaz expressed optimism that the July Charter will be prepared soon.

Zonayed Saki, chief coordinator of Ganosamhati Andolon, said, "The July Charter will reflect the consensus of stakeholders, and any disagreements will be taken to the people. Democracy will advance through this unity."
