The government has slashed oil prices by Tk1 per litre, effective from Thursday, according to a notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division on Wednesday.
The prices of one litre diesel has fallen to Tk104 from Tk105, octane to Tk125 from Tk126 and petrol to Tk121 from Tk122, as the government adjusts prices with global rates.
The prices were hiked by Tk1 in February, and kept unchanged during March and April.
