
The results of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) board of directors election have been published. According to the constitution, 23 directors have been elected from three categories. In addition, two have been elected from the NSC quota.
The voting was held from 10 am to 4 pm at a five-star hotel in the capital on Monday.
10 people have been elected from the category-1 i.e. district and division quota, 12 people have been elected from the category-2 or Dhaka club category. One person has been elected from the category-3 i.e. former cricketers and various government and autonomous organizations quota.
Those selected from Category-1 i.e. district and division quota include Ahsan Iqbal Chowdhury and Asif Akbar from Chattogram division, Nazmul Abedin Fahim and Aminul Islam Bulbul from Dhaka division, Abdur Razzak Raj and Zulfiqar Ali Khan from Khulna division, Sakhawat Hossain from Barisal division, Rahat Shams from Sylhet division, Mokhlesur Rahman from Rajshahi division and Hasanuzzaman from Rangpur division.
Ishtiaq Sadeq, Faruk Ahmed, Amjad Hossain, Shanian Tanim, Mehrab Alam Chowdhury, Moksedul Kamal, Manjurul Alam, Adnan Rahman Dipon, Abul Bashar Shiplu, Iftekhar Rahman Mithu, Faizur Rahman and Nazmul Islam were selected from Category-2 i.e. Dhaka club quota.
Khaled Masud Pilot has been elected from the Category-3 quota, i.e. former cricketers and various government universities and autonomous institutions.
Yasir Mohammad Faisal Ashiq and M Isfaq Ahsan have been elected from the NSC quota.
A total of 25 directors will be elected as the president and two vice-presidents.
