Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum has left Dhaka for Singapore to undergo medical treatment.
She left for Singapore on a midnight flight on Monday.
Dr. Manjurul Islam, Personal Secretary (Joint Secretary) to the adviser, confirmed the information.
According to sources, the Health Adviser is a cancer patient and travels to Singapore for regular checkup.
The Health Adviser is scheduled to return on 17 September.
