College student killed in bike accident at Rajshahi University

A college student died and his friend was injured in a bike accident at Rajshahi University on Thursday. 

The deceased was identified as Shimul Shihab. His house is in the Meherchandi Buthpara area of ​​Rajshahi city. He is a student of Rajshahi College.

The accident occurred on Thursday at 10:30 pm in front of Rajshahi University's 3rd Science Building. He was rescued and admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH).

Regarding this matter, Mahmudul Hasan Firoz, the doctor in charge of the hospital's emergency department, said, "The rescuers initially said it was a road accident, but later admitted during interrogation that he was beaten to death."

University Proctor Professor Dr. Md. Mahbubor Rahman said, "The boy was sitting and chatting with a girl behind the 3rd science building of the university. Seeing Proctor's car, they fled with the bike where road work was going on in that direction. That's where the accident happened."

Officer in charge of Motihar police station of Rajshahi, Md. Abdul Malek said, we are investigating the matter. But we still do not know the exact incident.
