Ishraque holds meeting at Nagar Bhaban

A meeting was held with officials and employees of the Waste Management Department of Dhaka South City Corporation.

The meeting was organized on Monday at the conference room of Nagar Bhaban to ensure a clean Dhaka and citizen services.

BNP leader Ishraque Hossain was present as the chief guest at the meeting held with officials and employees.

At that time, officials and employees of the Waste Management Department of the corporation welcomed Ishraque with flowers and a crest on behalf of the Waste Management Department.

This was his first meeting at Nagar Bhaban. The banner of the meeting had the words 'Honorable Mayor, Dhaka South City Corporation' written after his name. The organizers said this meeting was organized to ensure a clean Dhaka and citizen services. The officials felicitated Ishraque Hossain as mayor at the meeting.

On the other hand, employees of the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) have been protesting at the city hall since morning after the Eid break, demanding that BNP leader Ishraque Hossain be given the post of mayor. Along with this, Ishraque's followers gathered at the city hall under the banner of Dhaka residents.
