
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended Eid greetings to Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus on Friday night, the eve of Eid-ul-Azha.
The message of greetings was extended through the Indian Embassy in Dhaka, said an Indian foreign ministry source.
In the message, Modi said: This holy festival is an indispensable part of a rich and diverse cultural heritage. Millions of Muslims celebrate the occasion with delight and passion. This festival reminds us of the eternal values of sacrifice, compassion and fraternity, which are essential for building a peaceful and inclusive world.”
