Four offline and one day online class held in JnU

Jagannath University (JnU) will hold physical classes four days a week from May 5 (Sunday).  And there will be one online class every Tuesday. Apart from this, it has been decided to end the class activities by 2 pm every day.

This decision was taken in a meeting organized in the Vice-Chancellor's meeting room under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Professor Sadeka Halim on Tuesday afternoon.

Registrar (Acting) Professor Ainul Islam confirmed this.

The acting registrar said that the class-examination will be conducted four days a week from next Sunday. Classes will be online only on Tuesdays. Also, the class or exams will start from 8 am to 2 pm.

However, due to the class-examination of some departments, it may take 10/15 minutes here and there.

However, the acting registrar is not willing to comment on the class-examination of those departments which do not have AC. He said, it is an internal matter of the university. This matter will be coordinated by the departments themselves.

It may be noted that Jagannath University decided to start online classes from April 22 due to the ongoing heatwave in the country.
