Aminul Islam Bulbul has been elected the new president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
He secured the position through a majority vote during the board’s meeting held on Friday.
At the beginning of the meeting, he was announced as a board director, nominated by the National Sports Council. Following that, he was elected president by a vote of the board directors.
Bulbul becomes the 16th president of the BCB. Like his predecessors Nazmul Hassan and Faruque Ahmed, he too was elected unopposed.
Nazmul Abedeen Fahim and Fahim Sinha have been elected as vice-presidents.
