On the occasion of the anniversary of the July mass uprising, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will observe a nationwide victory rally program today.
This information was announced in a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Tuesday.
The statement said, “In continuation of the July mass uprising, victory rallies will be held across all districts and metropolitan cities, including Dhaka, on August 6 to mark the anniversary of the fall of Awami fascism and the victory of students and the masses on August 5.”
The central rally in the capital will begin at 2:00 PM in front of the BNP central office at Nayapaltan.
Party leaders and activists from Dhaka Division including Tangail, Manikganj, Munshiganj, Dhaka District, Dhaka North and South City, Gazipur city and upazilas, Narsingdi, and Narayanganj city and upazilas will take part.
BNP has called upon residents of Dhaka, as well as leaders and activists of the party and its affiliated and associate organizations at all levels, to participate in the rally.
