Legal Advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul said, “Sheikh Hasina has held the world's most heinous elections three times in a row. In 2014, all the rigging exceeded the level. 100 people were killed after the ghostly elections during Sheikh Hasina's tenure.”
He said this at a seminar titled 'July Mass Uprising Day 2025' organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Foreign Service Academy on Monday afternoon.
Asif Nazrul said, “Sheikh Hasina has committed the highest crime by lying about the elections day after day. Hasina created a society of liars. She used to hide bodies and act hypocritically. It is possible to do a PhD in psychological details on her.”
The law advisor said, “There is no such precedent anywhere in the world. She was in the habit of threatening and making people hear her talks which included poking them. Hasina did not understand the concept of the state. She considered the people of Bangladesh as slaves and gave everything to India from the country.”
Dr. Asif Nazrul said, “The July Movement is the expression of everyone's anger in Bangladesh. The embodiment of this movement is all the common people of the country. Before changing the law and order, we have to correct ourselves. We have to change ourselves. The people of Bangladesh are still ashamed in the outside world because of their passports. If there is a fair election, democracy will be established. If this is the case, Bangladesh will reach a better place.”
Stating that self-criticism is necessary without complacency, the advisor said changing the constitution is not possible to change the country.
