The High Court today acquitted BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and two others in the Barapukuria coal mine graft case.
Judge Md Abu Taher of Dhaka Special Judge Court-3 passed the order.
Two others who got acquittal are former ministers Air Vice Marshal (retd) Altaf Hossain Chowdhury and Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain.
The court, however, framed charges against Moazzem Hossain, Nazrul Islam, Moinul Ahsan and Md Sirajul Islam Chowdhury, officially initiating the trial.
