State Minister for Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Ministry Shafiqur Rahman Chowdhury, MP, said that Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Affairs Ministry will be more proactive in creating employment opportunities abroad by creating skilled women workers through training.
He said these remark when the leaders of Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) came for a courtesy meeting at his office in the afternoon on Monday.
At that time, SAARC Business Council and Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mantasha Ahmed led other members were present.
During the courtesy meeting, a very important discussion was held in the field of training and skill development of Bangladeshi women at the national and international level.
Employment of women workers abroad especially in the fashion and SME sectors and reflection of women friendly policies in the national budget are also discussed.
